Spring Observation Trains

Spring Observation Trains

Event Date: 14th March 2018- 10th May 2018

Travel by our heritage diesel observation train with nice big windows to see out of and windows in the front of the train to see the Spring flowers along the line. Primroses, Daffodils and Bluebells all grace our lineside and these trains are the perfect way to enjoy seeing them!  Trains will run to our lilac timetable, please see the calendar here for details.

There are plenty of optional walk and picnic stops at Boscarne Junction along the Camel Trail, including access to the Borough Arms Pub, Camel Trail Tearooms and Camel Valley Vineyard, Colesloggett Halt for Cardinham Woods or Respryn and Lanyhrdock at the Bodmin Parkway end of the line. Our trains are dog-friendly, so bring your four-legged friend along for the ride and a walk too!

Ticket prices are reduced on these days. You can buy tickets for travel on the day from the booking office at Bodmin General, or with cash from the ticket inspector on the train. Explore six and a half miles of track with a Freedom of the Line ticket - pay once and travel all day!
