Trains operate from Bodmin General, the principal station with free coach and car parking ( subject to availability), to both Bodmin Parkway station – where connections can be made directly with main line railway services – and Boscarne Junction, which is situated directly adjacent to the Camel Trail recreational footpath and cycle way, a total distance of 6½ miles. All trains reverse direction at Bodmin General.

A varied and interesting programme of special events and special trains are also an important part of the Railway's calendar, to suit a wide range of tastes and budgets.
The Railway also has its own First Class Dining Train, which operates on selected dates from March-December and is also available for private hire.

Other than red/white timetable days, steam locomotives will be used subject to availability and the company may substitute a diesel locomotive if circumstances demand.
